SFist Blotter
- What a care- and crime-free life SF is living right now, right? And we don't believe any of it. According to local media outlets, SF is safe and sound. But according to a few SFist tipsters:
- "Okay, that sure sounded like three gunshots at Alamo Square park, at the northwest corner, around 9:21pm. Anyone concur?"
- "Heard four more gunshot-like explosions at 10:49 in the same area. Saw four cops heading east on Fulton and McAllister, not using flashers or sirens.!"
- "A ton more cops patrolling the area without flashers or sirens."
A shooting within the sacred walls of our city? Near the Tanner family home? Heavens no! So, we called the San Francisco Police Department to find out more about this supposed Alamo Square Park shooting. And their response? "I don't know." Okay. Could we get the number of somebody at SFPD who could possible explain more? "Um, no."
Fantastic job, SF fuzz!
- A 10-year-old girl who went missing this weekend returned to her Tenderloin home.
- An interesting read, SF Crime has the breakdown on gunshot versus stabbing victims brought to SF General Hospital over the last few years.
Over in the East Bay:
- Last night, a man was shot and killed in Berkeley on the 1500 block of Harmon Street. If you know anything about the murder, you are urged to call the police at 510-981-5741.
- An Oakland standoff, involving a parolee who just didn't want to leave his grandfather's home, ended peacefully.

Jesus fucking christ! From Eater SF.
"FISHERMAN'S WHARF—Sure, no one wants to pay the bill at subpar, overpriced wharf restaurants like Joe's Crab Shack, but heavens: "An Oakland man has been arrested for allegedly shooting at two servers who chased him down the street after he and three other diners left a Fisherman's Wharf restaurant without paying, San Francisco police said Monday. Marcel Waldron, 36, was booked Sunday night after he allegedly fired two shots at the servers who were trying to get him to pay his bill at Joe's Crab Shack at 245 Jefferson St." One of the bullets grazed the head of a waitress, but she was not seriously wounded, which is amazing and fortunate, considering she got shot in the head."
