You Do Not Tube

Remember the great Youtube outage of 2006? Horribly, it seems to have returned. Can you access the site? We can't. Multiple theories are popping up -- generally, hackers or incompetent cyber-Mohammedans are getting the blame -- or perhaps Google itself is at fault?

This may not be just affecting Youtube -- sites with embedded Youtube videos are predicting problems of their own. Worse yet, the issue is affecting users globally -- and has even impacted our most cherished purveyors of filth. But don't give up hope! Youtube's wrested back control of the situation, and is surely working feverishly on patching things up.

SFist will not be updating this post with further developments, because it's just a temporary outage on a goddamn internet site, not the end of the fucking world.

I didn't miss YouTube the first time it was (apparently) missing.

i only log on to SFist and could give an eff about any other URL.

Slow news day, eh?

must be! I'm still waiting to see if Brock or Matt get around to posting a link to the story I've been dyin' to see other people comment about.

(but probably tomorrow, most likely)

Is You Tube owned by Blackberry?

There was a uPoop outage? Who knew?! Information overload.

I love that you curse on the Internet. I would, but I am too much of a fu*cking p*ssy.

Yeah, I'd be more pissed if there was a YouPorn or XTube outage.
