House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, in town today to dedicate the new Mission Campus of CCSF, took time out to downplay the role of superdelegates in deciding whether Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama will be the Democratic presidential nominee. She told KCBS reporter Doug Sovern that the participation of superdelegates should not overturn the wishes of the people. It's been rumored for a week now that she's "leaning" towards Obama, but it's not exactly clear how our Representative and the superest of superdelegates will act when the time comes.

Whether you're a pro-Obama gloater or you live in pro-Hillary Delegate Hub fantasyland, the next few weeks should be interesting. News about City College dedication after the jump.

A large crowd attended today's ribbon cutting at the $75.6 million campus at 1125 Valencia.

Code Pink had two people there (asking to meet again with the Speaker), but it was nothing like this. Good.

Congratulations to City College of San Francisco and the students of the great new Mission Campus.
