Hot Stuff: Food Blog Round Up

seville_orange.JPG

Beaut pic Delights and Prejudices; hey, thanks!

Our votes for the best food blogs this week are....

Best reason to visit Tiburon: to taste the cauliflower soup, octopus or tripe at Cottage Eatery. Bunrab's Gutenberg's got the goods. Or if you feel like hitting Berkeley instead, Cooking with Amy's post on an upcoming "global journey of tea" event may tempt.

Funnest way to learn Italian while still thinking about food: briciole. There's even mp3s to listen to to polish that grammar. Fish Fridays look awesome under the watch of Cooking with the Single Guy. We're busy and tired, too. Yet we totally dig halibut with fingerling potatoes for a quick, refreshing din-din.

Hottest use of pequin chili with chocolate in a sweet lil cupcake is of course by Chockylit. On a more poignant note, there are many reasons why you should take the time to thank your pastry chef. If only someone would make us some seville orange sweet lime marmalade. On second thought, Delights and Prejudices shows us how to do it ourselves.....

Thanks for the link Mary, I have a jar of homemade bitter orange marmalade with your name on it. Just name the time and place and it's yours. I have to admit, I went a little nuts making the stuff.

Oh, I think a jam tutorial can somehow be arranged. The jar made from the fruit in that photo is going to the excellent Shuna.

Amy & Colleen-

Sounds great all around!

Thanks,
Mary
