Vandalism Report Card: "I'm a Faggot"

With over a dozen or so problems that the above graffiti could have critiqued about this poster advertising the Academy of Friends annual "gala" fundraiser for HIV/AIDS -- such as paying to attend an event to watch the Oscars; or the lack of originality with this year's title, "Shaken Not, Stirred" -- he or she takes the easy route here, pointing out the obvious homosexual nature of the event. Meh.
And although the talking "I'm a faggot" bubble made us giggle, the superfluous addition of "fag queer" brings down its final grade and overall impact.

Clearly what the graffitist was attempting to underscore was the extent to which the James Bond archetype within pop-culture (i.e. the masculine sophisticate) can be directly traced to the public personae first crafted by notable homo and bon vivant Noel Coward.
The "fag queer" redundancy was a regrettable digression, I agree.
They really shouldn't be worried about graffiti, because the copyright lawyers will soon be on them. Kids, how many trademark infringements can you spot?
I'm your Mayor and I'm on vacation in Hawaii would have gotten no less than a B-.
The repetition seems to betray some insecurity
