Muni's Guide to the Weekend

Is there anyplace in San Francisco more charming than SOMA at night? No, there is not. And this President's Day, it'll be even charminger: construction and traffic reroutes on the Bay Bridge may cause a few heavy-flow days over the holiday weekend. If you're clever, you'll probably want to avoid SOMA in the late-night and early-morning hours. But then again, if you're clever, you probably already do.
But it's not all blocked onramps and gas stations this weekend! There's also some bus reroutes, courtesy of the delightful YMCA Chinese New Year Run on Sunday at the Chinatown YMCA (855 Sacramento Street). The fun starts at 8am, and registration's $35. According to the website, "random awards will be handed out at the end of the finish line." Random! What fun. A pair of tweezers, some month-old cheese, a hedgehog, forty-two pounds of wigs ... readers, if you participate in the run, please let us know what they wind up giving away.
After the jump: details!
