and tonight "Concord Police are currently searching for a man who shot a pizza delivery guy from Domino's. The shooting happened behind McDonald's on Clayton Road, on a side street called Melody. The suspect is believed to have ran into Newhall Park, helicopters and K-9's are currently searching for the undescribed suspect."

"CONCORD -- A pizza deliveryman was shot Monday night, touching off a manhunt as Concord police sealed off an area north of Newhall Community Park and responded with tracking dogs and a helicopter.
The shooting occurred about 8:11 p.m. in the 4600 block of Melody Drive, in the Newhill Village neighborhood, located off of Bel Air Drive between Treat Boulevard and Clayton Road.
Police arrived to find a man lying in the street. He was treated by Contra Costa Fire District Paramedics and taken to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek, said Concord police Cpl. Sean Donnelly.
The victim's condition was not immediately available. Police believed he was delivering for Domino's Pizza.
Officers quickly established a perimeter around the Melody Drive crime scene and the surrounding area.
It was the second shooting in Concord in less than a week."
