The 12th Annual Tết Festival Ceremony occurred yesterday all around Little Saigon in San Francisco's Theater District. Learn all about Tết here. See Police Chief Heather Fong's littlest recruit here. It all went off with a bang.

As far as the trend of naming smaller neighborhoods in San Francisco goes, Little Saigon (sandwiched between Civic Center and the Tenderloin) sounds pretty good. Anyway, it's a lot better than the name for a Vietnamese-American part of San Jose: "Saigon Business District". (Yish.)
