  • The closing of Ginger's Trois makes us want to go on a shooting rampage, but alternatives might very well exist to the beloved, downtown, homosexually-inclined bar? [Yelp]
  • And yet another setback to having genital herpes. [SFGate]
  • Oops. [Eater]
  • Napa fire claims the lives of two adults and two kids. [CBS 5]

Commenters on yelp on Feb. 1 say Ginger Trois has NOT closed permanently, that it was only closed for a little cleaning up and now it's back open, gay friendly as ever, with dimmer lighting. Is this not correct?

They took the rainbow flag down, but apparently pretty much the same besides that.

It's open, with dimmer lighting, less "decor," more expensive drinks and a slightly higher percentage of DiFi/Marina chicks, who may or may not be friends-of-friends-of-Dorothy.
