i was asked politely to stop taking photos of Castro Camera ("the set", as they put it), but that I could take photos of other things (extras, retro cars, etc.). The person was polite and wasn't in my face about it.
i obliged like a wuss. :(
Its amazing to me how fashions in the Castro haven't changed in 30 years.
You know, some pushy dude told me I wasn't allowed to take pictures either after I snapped a shot. He, however, is wrong. I can take any picture I want in my neighborhood on a public sidewalk.
