Bush in Hillsborough this Afternoon

But don't get too excited, folks. Our way unpopular president will be at a Republican National Committee fundraiser at a private home in the posh Peninsula town. So alas, there is no chance to hear him speak, or watch him speak, or fall asleep during a W speech à la Senator Joseph Biden at the State of the Union address.

Are you sure that's not Biden closing his eyes and concentrating *really hard*? Or more likely, praying?

Anyway, that's the second Democrat to conspicuously fall asleep in public in just a couple of weeks. (Remember Bill Clinton on MLK Day?) Perhaps they are secretly being dosed with narcotics by some super-villain. Cheney?

If it was Cheney he must've gotten some in his drink by accident; poor ol' bastard could hardly keep his eyes open during the State of the Union. Made for a fun drinking game, though- take a shot every time Cheney's shown sleeping on camera.

It's got to be an enemy of Cheney, Biden AND Bill Clinton, then. Hillary?

People actually give money for the opportunity to see and hear George W. Bush speak?

ya know, I'd have a lot more respect for the self styled urban guerillas and lefty protesters if they had the nerve to go protest ol' President 28% in Hillsborough, but I'm not holding my breath.

Instead he's going to screw up traffic and stuff in Burlingame. Maybe he can stop by and say hi to Ed Jew while he's out there.

His approval rating is up to 28%? Wow.

Biden for president! Oh, wait ...
