Dude, it really was that bad. Guys hugged their girlfriends and nodded their heads while giving me a dirty look for "pushin." I mean, NO ONE was dancing except for me and my 2 friends and some weird foreign dood who creeped everyone out. The opening bands were also terrible (the frail is especially bad--good for heckling, "play agenda suicide!" and "2001 called and it wants its tunes back!") At least the venue sells fernet. The Lovemakers were great, but sometimes a lame crowd ruins the show (for me at least).

"old and haggard" ouch. that's pretty harsh - was it really that bad? I heard the sold-out show last week rocked.

The Lovemakers put on a good show but the crowd they draw is old and haggard.
