Muni's Guide to the Weekend: Let's Get Some Cars off the Roads

supercross.png
There are two events of interest to Muni this weekend: Critical Mass tonight at 6, and Supercross Saturday at one of the baseball parks. Both events are dedicated to the elimination of automobiles, but only one will actually accomplish its goal, while the other will just be a noisy, irritating echo chamber.

Muni will be running extra trains to accommodate the Supercross crowd. The extra trains will stop running at 10pm, which is a shame because the event lets out at 11pm. Ha ha.

Supercross Details: Saturday, January 26; AT&T Park; practice starts at 12:30 p.m.; final show starts at 7:00 p.m. and ends at 11:00 p.m. Muni will run additional trains from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Shuttles will operate from St. Francis Circle to the Caltrain station at 4th and King Streets.

Critical Mass Details: None.

wouldn't it rock if we had hurricane like conditions for every critical ass event!
