• Barbie Nation: An Unauthorized Tour (1998): Its an ana party tonight, folks! The question s is this: Barbie, is she good or bad for young women? This documentary delves into both sides of the (in)famously skinny and blond Barbie's story and influence. Screens at 7:15 p.m. and 9:15 at the Red Vic; $5-8.50.
• Varla Jean Merman: Drag queen tomfoolery on stage; hammered homosexuals sitting on the audience. Really, save for the sexy ladies, what more does one need? Starts at 8 p.m. at the Empire Plush Room; $30.
