Snowy Plovers vs. Off-Leash Dogs -- the Feds Want Your Opinion

Vote or Die, that's what Puffy says. So make sure your voice is heard today on the issue of the seasonal ban of off-leash dogs on some parts of Ocean Beach. Get up to speed by reading this, and this. Then make your comment here. See your nutty neighbors' comments here.

They need signs at Ocean Beach clearly designating which areas are on-leash for protection of the plovers. I have no problem keeping my dogs away from those areas, but I need to know where they are. When I go to Ocean Beach, there are dogs off leash everywhere. They're usually just down by the shoreline chasing balls, though. I've never seen one take off after any bird.
