Thanks SFist for the free tickets! I've had a crush on Mary Lynn fan since Mr. Show/Larry Sanders days. I wasn't sure what to expect, but Mary Lynn rocked the house. There were parts where i was laughing uncontrollably. She mostly talked about her experiences in show business, from having her "team" that gets her ready for award shows, getting spray-tanned in the shower (paid for by FOX), to having Karl Rove serve her up some "Chocolate Freedom" in the White House, and subsequently being romantically linked to Rush Limbaugh. But it wasn't her name dropping and sharing wonderful stories of being famous. She was more like, "WTF? Karl Rove is serving me a lava cake called 'Chocolate Freedom!'" It's the weird, surreal world of Hollywood, related from a misfit perspective. A highlight: playing "Kill Fuck or Marry" with her boyfriend at a party: "Who would you Kill Fuck or Marry? Your ex-wife, your mom, or your daughter?" PS: Mosey long-form improv was pretty lame. The bald guy from 30 rock was the saving grace.
