PS See in the picture how the shelf above has Nescafe Instant Coffee in the 7oz size for a lot cheaper, and presumably not as boosted as the Taster's Choice 15 oz size? I'm gonna guess it's definitely the big sizes being stolen to curb those pesky cravings.

There are (at least) two ways instant coffee is used in conjunction with meth: hide the meth inside a jar for delivery to a customer, or put a pinch between your cheek & gum for an "instant" caffeine high that is really easy to overdo in order to curb speed cravings. (I know some US military guys who also use this trick to stay awake.) There may also be some consumer stupidity happening around that brand, Meth Coffee, which doesn't actually have anything but Arabica beans in it but is marketed as if it does ("wakes zombies, straightens drunks" blah blah blah): maybe now there's a growing misconception that all instant coffee has their friend tina in it? Next thing you know, stores will have to put Kiss My Face Wake Up Toothpaste behind the pharmacy counter as well.

About a month ago, I was at Safeway on Market and some meth-head was in line in front of me with a shopping cart full of Taster's Choice coffee. She tried to buy them with a food stamps card, but it wouldn't go through and she left without the 30 or so cannisters of it.
