Additionally, the whole concept of verbal taunting is questionable, perhaps ludicrous. Okay, so the guys verbally taunted the tiger. Would they be less guilty if they had spoken in Swahili? Farsi? Klingon? Ameslan? Or what if it were just little kids screaming in delight? In Cantonese?

If they taunted it with a ladder, a rope, or a staircase, then it's their fault. Otherwise, it's the zoo's fault. Case closed.

The tiger probably would have also attacked innocent people in time. Even if the cops knew everything that had transpired, they still would have had to stop the tiger. And surely, this cannot be the first time in history that wastoids taunted a wild animal. The zoo is responsible for safety of its animals and reasonable safeguards for its visitors. It failed miserably in both tasks.

Dear junior PR executive for Grey Goose, the writer cleverly used the word "expensive" so as not to confuse the readers into thinking the exact opposite. In other news, drunk, stoned kids bait tiger. Tiger eats them. It's an open and shut case. This happens all the time in India and the general consensus is, the winner in a tiger/human fight has justice on their side.
