11:30 is late?

Hmm...shows here in SF definitely seem to start earlier than what I''ve been used to. 11:30 is a wee early...but thats ok. I bailed shortly after midnight only 'cause I was over Ms. Nash and her gimmicks.

The point is the judicious use of "out-drunking" the annoying people. Also, it's OK to stick your foot out and push them over it. Make it so they're the ones who cause 5 drinks to spill.

@manys: moshing and Kate Nash really don't well together. lol.

@masterdave: Maybe I'm old too, but 11:30 to go on is one of the latest shows I have ever been to. Funny, you talk about being old, because as I was standing in line, another couple of bitches were talking about Sara Bareilles and how she was on KFOG. One of them said, "Ew, KFOG that's oldies shit - like 80's stuff." When did 80's = old? Dammit.

man i'm glad as hell I bailed on that show. I'd been up since 4AM and I knew there'd be nooooo way I'd last until things started.

I know it's awesome as fuck go be a cool kid and stay out all night, especialy on a Saturday, but goddamn why do main acts on a 2-man bill need to start close to midnight?

it makes me feel old, but I really enjoy shows at the Warfield, despite their hugeness, because they're going to start the damn show at 7 or 8 and I'm gonna be out by midnight, not bored and waiting at 11. It almost makes me want to skip the trendy indie shows and wait for them to hit up GAMH or something bigger on their 2nd run through the city.

Uh, people who steamroll to the front row get elbows in the sternum. Is this news? Sure fire cure for over-photographing people: instant mosh-pit wherever they are. Bonus points for knocking the phone/cam out of their hands. Double bonus points for foregoing the mosh-pit and just grabbing the phone/cam and throwing it to the other side of the room.

We aren't offended!

It is kinda stupid, but that's why we love it!

ok, no offense, but Kate Nash sucks. Her music isnt poorly executed and even her singing isnt bad, but its stupid that the only reason people like her is because she has a "charming accent". Come on. Also MTV needs to stop airing weird split screens of her performing with their amazing crap shows.

Sorry for the anger, I just wish people would like music that is good because its good, not because its
quaint.
