His family needs the insurance because his wife Lisa has had a recurrence of breast cancer. rita, it ruins the joke when you say things like this. I suspect Leland is running damage control here... as he's the one who gave Ed Jew his first city job (right? I think that's true.) and now he wants Tom Lantos' seat in Congress. Is it wrong for me to find it all kinds of hilarious that a guy could be denied Tom Lantos' seat in Congress because of a "Jew problem"?

omg! wow. also, ouch about the breast cancer. that's sad news. (i recommend lots of kombucha tea, lisa. because i'm a medical doctor, too, it seems.)
