Body Found On Mt. Tam, Veronica Ruiz?
A body turned up on Mount Tamalpais this Sunday afternoon, and authorities (as well as your favorite rabid media outlets) are wondering: is this the body of distraught Mill Valley resident and IRS investigator, 25-year-old Veronica Ruiz?
If you recall, Ruiz went missing in early December, reportedly "despondent" after a recent break-up with her boyfriend. A massive search for her ensued, but was called off since it produced no results. Until this week, according to CBS 5, when "a body was discovered by a Marin County search and rescue team during a training exercise in an area above Mill Valley's Slide Gulch."
The body, whose identity is still unknown, was removed and taken to a the Marin County's coroner officer. An autopsy will determine whether or not its identity belongs to Ruiz, which should be known in a couple of days.

A couple of days?? But on teevee it happens in like a half hour! I suspect corruption! Or a cover up! Somebody needs to sue.

So sad. Wonder how the ex-boyfriend feels?
I wish young women would stop hiking and jogging alone. It is so dangerous for so many reasons.
