Oh No, Ed Jew!: Reportedly Resigning

That's a picture taken by reader Angela of a counter-protest sign at the June 07 Ed Jew rally that says "RESIGN" in Chinese. Well, Angela -- that day is nigh: City Attorney Dennis Herrera takes a break from infuriating the ACLU, the NRA, and Mark Geragos to announce that he's holding a press conference at 1 p.m. where Ed Jew is expected to resign from the Board of Supes.
Ed's resignation is in response to the civil claims of non-residency that Dennis Herrera brought against him -- this doesn't affect Kamala Harris's criminal case on the same issue, or the federal extortion case either. Those cases will keep on going. How to resolve those, then? Well, maybe Ed can cry on cue when someone asks him about the status of those cases -- hey, it worked for Hillary Clinton!
Keep it locked on your SFist radio dial, faithful readers -- we'll update either this post or the site as the Ed Jew news comes in. Now's the time to start emailing us your funny Ed Jew pictures, too -- the hilariousest ones may be used to illustrate future posts! (Update: SFist will be sending someone to the 1:00 pm press conference. WE CAN'T WAIT!!!!!)
All our past Ed Jew coverage starts here, if you want to reminisce!

Celebrate! Pop that cork of champagne!
Here's some of my hilarious pics of Ed Jew:

This is a sad day for corrupt carpetbaggers everywhere.
Wow .. yet another Supervisor seat up for election .... does that make 7 of the 11?
Not so fast--perhaps he's only resigning his seat in order to run for another office. I hear he's considering a run for Governor of Ohio.

After all, I think he's living there too. And Spain.
