Second Bay Area Storm Fails to Deliver, Critics Claim

drizzle_render.jpg

Even though more power outages are affecting PG&E customers in the Bay Area due to today's storm (chortle), you would hardly believe it. Where's the vim and vigor of last week's tempest? Where are the knocked down trees? Where are the broken umbrellas? Where are the 10-minute boasting intervals of having a Hi-Def Doppler? Pft. Mama Nature lost us with this one.

Although the major brunt of the storm will happen around 4 p.m this afternoon, it's expected to dwindle down to simple showers by late tonight. Alas. And to find out more about today's pedestrian conditions, visit Weather Underground.

I agree. I would not recommend this to a friend.

What, is it Mother Nature's job to entertain us now? Sometimes no news is good news, y'all.

It's the least she could do... I always appreciate a little pizazz with my inconvenience.

What we are experiencing is the Bill O'Reilly school of meteorology.

Oh, and I think it's hardly fair to blame PG&E outages on the weather. More likely it's due to their incompetence and tree-trimmer cost-cutting.
