SFsit Tonight

pne%20box%20boys.jpg

  • The Pine Box Boys: Described as a group that creates "country ballads composed to accompany a slasher film," this local sensation dabbles on the Goth world ever so slightly in order to bring out country's dark roots. They perform with the Good Luck Thrift Store Outfit.

Music starts at 9 p.m. at Elbo Room; $7

  • Juno (2007): Yeah, yeah - it's not a locally-produced event, or whatever, but we implore you to see it. It's very good and unusually touching, and we so totally did not cry while watching it. It's this last year's Little Miss Sunshine - that is to say, this year's fauxindie flick to see - only less cloying. And an added bonus? Juno was written by a stripper.

To find out when and where it's playing, go here.

Pine Box Boys rock, too bad I'm working tonight so I can't see em, but everyone who isn't working should!

Folks,

These boys rock. Come to this show. They are heading cross-country for the next five weeks and have a bunch of kickin' new tunes.

Tonight will be special.

blood will be spilled.

See the Pine Box Boys.

Juno is good, but overrated. No 16 year old is that witty all the time and can reference THAT many classic, punk, and metal bands. Good writing, but let's get real.

It's this year's Little Miss Sunshine

Feeling bold? It's January 7th!
