Tiger Beat: Dennis Herrera vs. Mark Geragos -- It's On!
The tragedy is over, so now it's time for the lawyers to get going. It seems the Bros. Dhaliwal don't feel like letting the SFPD take a peek at the cell phones they were using on Christmas Day. (The cops currently have the phones, but haven't looked at data? How polite!) San Francisco Deputy City Attorney James Hannawalt of Dennis Herrera's office has the crazy idea that somebody should take a look at these phones before the police hand them back over to the Dhaliwals.
What useful information could these cellies contain? Contact numbers and pictures, maybe? It seems like a fair idea that representatives from the office of Mark Geragos (a Fox News Loser of the Week!) and the City Attorney's Office take a gander at these things at the same time. That's the proposal. How will Geragos reply? Tune in next week.
(In other news, Michael Jackson is not a freak, in any sense of the word.)

And what of the mysterious alleged "Fourth Taunter???"
If they spend Christmas together, he must be in the Dhaliwals' "Fave 5," right?
The "Fourth Taunter" can be found on the grassy knoll.
It's almost noon and nobody's posted the "Don't tell them what we did" story? Who's busy out there sandbagging?
please please god please make Mark Geragos Ed Jew's lawyer please please please.....
Malcove: That's been known information since the first reports on Boxing Day.
First - props to #2 and #4 - y'all are cracking me up!
Second - the SFPD needs to stop being such pussies. Go into the evidence locker and look at the phones. That's what they'd do on Law and Order. And everyone knows L&O is totally real.
Seriously, the lawyer for the family of the dead guy needs to be raising hell right now. The stuff on those cell phones is potential evidence for the civil case.
I've seen exactly one episode of a Law & Order or CSI type of "procedural show". It involved an estranged husband who burned down his wife because she lied about stuff. It was amazingly like this:

The family of the 17 year old has a solid case right now. There's no evidence he did anything wrong himself, so far.
Jim - Nice link!
Actually, I was talking about the lawsuit the dead guy's family should be filing against the zoo and the 2 brothers for wrongful death, negligence and whatever else they can think of.
Yes, the wrongful death lawsuit from Carlos Sousa, Jr's family. That's the solid case. We don't know for sure that there were/are any photos on those cell phones. Something like a snap showing Carlos throwing a rock at Tatiana would be damaging, but I'm hard-pressed to think of anything else that would hurt their case.
Jim, Not hurt their case, help it. If it shows the Brothers Douche taunting Tatiana, all the better to use to sue the brothers.
A photo of one of the Dhaliwal's throwing something at or otherwise acting untoward towards Tatiana would be highly interesting.
Surprised the Souza's don't have a lawyer yet, assuming they don't have a lawyer yet.
