A's fan since I was a kid, have had season tickets for the last 7 years...didn't renew this year because of ownership flapping lips about Fremont. This and the Haren trade make me REALLY glad that I didn't. Sheesh, another F--- You Very Much from A's Management. :(

try being a Royals fan, dude. people talk about the A's being baseball's little brother but both Johnny Damon and Jermaine Dye left the Royals for greener pastures in Oakland. the Royals would have had a strong foundation to build upon had they not sold off their 1999-2000 core of Carlos Beltran, Damon, and Dye.

i'm not saying these were wise or less-than-stingy moves by Royals brass. but they were bummers all the same since all we can do as fans is watch it go down and hope for the best.

(btw i love the A's too, i'm just sayin'..)
