The new R.E.M. is called "Accelerate" and it comes out April 1. Also, since this IS San Francisco we're talking about, after all, Kylie Minogue's new album X definitely deserves a shout-out! It comes out sometime in the next month or two, I think, and I'm sure that it'll be lighting up the Castro for the rest of the year.

About U2(my favorite): Supposedly a new album is going to be finished this year. Hopefully Bono doesn't run off to Washington or Africa too much and that will hold true. He told the press that it's going to be very different from anything they've done before. We'll see.

not bad, except for death cab. that's like the OC barf band of the decade. haha. i'm looking forward to the U2 album actually as well - and no that doesn't make you old at all. it makes you old skool! if only the younger generation caught on. they are to busy listening to rihanna, rihanna, rihanna... haha

I knew I would get some flack for putting P!@tD up there, but I really did like their first album until it was overplayed. I'm interested in the second - that is all. Will check out Ambulance Ltd. - sounds like my kind of stuff. @mikebee: Okay, okay, you hate P!@tD - we get it - what album are you looking forward to?

@DJTennessee: "The Ohs" And Spencer, I gotta go with mikebee on this one. Looking forward to a new Panic! At the Disco album is like looking forward to a root canal. With Panic! At the Disco playing in the background. Personally, I'm looking forward to a new Ambulance Ltd. album, which is rumored. If you missed their last album in 2004 (cleverly titled "LP"), check it out. Awesome Britpop-flavored indie rock gems.
