We've watched Meet Me in St. Louis every Christmas Eve for the past million years. Perhaps an obvious choice, but nonetheless, Judy Garland's heart-wrenching version of Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas reduces us to sobs and snotty tissues every year. Not to mention the look on Tootie's face as she listens to her sister's melancholic words of comfort.
What are some of your favorite Christmas scenes? Not just the stuff that makes you cry. What are the funniest, scariest, most endearing cinematic holiday moments that you just can't get enough of?
P.S.
I was drunk last night, dear Mother
I was drunk the night before
But if you forgive me Mother
I'll never get drunk anymore

Definitely when Debbie does Santa.
Yee, it is a classic scene.
I double like it because we all know that Judy was either jazzed up on speed, or dolled down on reds when she did it.
My favorite Christmas scene is in "Mirace on 34th St." It's during the trial proving/disproving the guy as santa in the courtroom.
The post office delivers gazillions of letters addressed to Santa, and the guy is proven to be real.
Of course we didn't have a Bush Supreme Court back then which would have overturned the ruling
on behalf of business interests like FedEx...
The entire dinner scene in "The Ref," my absolute favorite Christmas movie. If you haven't seen it, do yourself a favor and rent it. Very funny stuff.
Gus: You know what, lady? I'd like to tie you to the back of a fucking truck.
Rose: You don't have the balls.
[Gus leaps up from his chair toward Rose and is intercepted by Lloyd]
Lloyd: Don't do it! It's not worth it.
Gus: I fucking hate her, Lloyd!
Lloyd: I know, I know.
Gus: What is the matter with you? I thought Mothers were sweet and nice a-a-and Patient. I know loan sharks who are more forgiving than you. Your husband ain't dead, lady. He's hiding.
The original, unaired Spirit of Christmas "pilot" for South Park, commissioned by Fox executive Brian Graden as a video Christmas card.
The martial arts battle between Jesus and Santa is spine tingling! :)

Yippe Ki Yay Mo-Humper!
That scene in Bad Santa where Lauren Graham is in the front seat of Billy Bob's car screaming F**k me Santa, f**k me Santa, f**k me Santa!
Cracks me up every time.
My family watches Die Hard every Christmas, but another family favorite of mine is Scrooged. Bill Murray telling a man to staple antlers on a mouse is priceless. Plus Lee Majors saves Santa!
glasskey - totally!
"The quarterback is toast"
From A christmas Story: when they are at the Chinese restaurant and the waiter brings the roast duck to the table with the head still on. Mom and the kids freak out, dad says "no no, it's fine, it's just that he's... smiling at us" and they all freak out again. So the waiter takes out a cleaver and chops off the duck's head, right at the table.
Gets me every time.
