OMG, You Love Him! Or Do You?

josh1.jpg Back in October, we featured Josh Groban in our holiday section of New Tunes Tuesday. We suggested that it would be "perfectly Grobanized - gorgeous string accompaniments, long high notes, huge endings, orchestral arrangements, different languages and of course several collaborations..." It seems that everyone needed to be Grobanized this Christmas season especially after Oprah Winfrey's suggestion that Noel is "the one Christmas CD every family should have." Since then, Josh Groban's Noel has become the #1 best-selling album of the year just passing High School Musical 2 and Daughtry.

We just think it's funny that the top-selling album of the year is a Christmas album. A Christmas album?! How can it be the top-selling CD when you only listen to it for 25 days of the year?

Do you love Josh Groban's latest quasi-classical Christmas CD, Noel? Or do you listen to something more classic like The Carpenter's Christmas? So we ask you, our dear readers, what is your favorite can't-live-without Christmas album? It seems that America has picked Groban, do you agree with the numbers?

Take the jump to find out our favorite Christmas album...

Who?

Was this the guy I saw on Top Gear a few weeks ago?

eyebrow, eyebrow

Ally McBeal boy! Not really into him ... ever

Lord in heaven.
Say it ain't so.

The end of the world IS near.

Well, *insert raised glass here* here's to the end of the world.

What a faker; with "A Charlie Brown Christmas" still in print, why play anything else? Even Andrea Bocelli, who's gone all Las Vegas on us, has 10X more Elvis in him than this guy.

True, true, "A Charlie Brown Christmas" is one of my favorites as well... good choice.

charlie brown will always be one to not go without. i'd have to say that my favorite christmas disc is sam payne, especially the song "all the christmas they need" www.sampayne.com

Barbra Streisand. That's all I have to say on the subject...

eh, it's only because the freaky Grobanites buy like 60 copies each.

Yes Josh Groban's Noel is my favorite cd for Christmas. Josh has a magnificant voice. There are others out there that I listen to but Noel is my favorite.
