From the "he would have been convicted" sentence, there may have been a SF District Attorney and/or court case involved? Instead of saying "call the police", the note should say "call the prosecutor who handled the first case; case number ____________". Gossip notes like this found item only serve to make everyone (victim, accused, anyone in the building) uncomfortable, terrified, etc. It surely sucks to be any of them.</p>
