SFist Finds: A Warning

Yikes. Not to drizzle gasoline on a fire again, but this alarming note was found at Drumm & Jackson (sent to us via Lady_K.)
To All Female TenantsXXXXXXXXXXX our head head of security was recently brought up on rape charges. He would have been convicted but the woman was too terrified and embarrassed to testify against him. If you have had any problems or know a woman who has, call the police this woman needs your help.
Well then.
Submit your Bay Area finds to found [at] sfist [dot] com or tag them "sfist" and "found" on Flickr! Let us know where and when you found the item and any other helpful info.

How would building tenants know that this is for real and not just another Snuffaluffagus Rapist fabrication?
From the "he would have been convicted" sentence, there may have been a SF District Attorney and/or court case involved? Instead of saying "call the police", the note should say "call the prosecutor who handled the first case; case number ____________".
Gossip notes like this found item only serve to make everyone (victim, accused, anyone in the building) uncomfortable, terrified, etc.
It surely sucks to be any of them.
Jesus, this is worse than..."Dear Chickens, our Head of Security was recently discovered to be in fact, a fox"
