-- Crime in Choir: CIC rocks it. Hard. For reals. Big time. One of the purest sounds coming out of SF these days, really. Brave the chill and head down to Potrero Hill to check them out. You won't regret it. Pink Mountain and Science of Yarba open at this anniversary party for Frenetic Records. The music starts at 10 p.m. at Bottom of the Hill; $10.

-- It Is Fine! Everything Is Fine: Crispin Glover's latest (read more about it here) screens tonight at 8 p.m. at the Castro Theatre; $20.

-- Meshugga Beach Party: Jews and the beach? Unimaginable. Until now. Within the confines of an ultraviolet ray-free hall, this beach-themed party "brings together many favorite Jewish melodies with the fun, retro-cool sounds of surf music." Bands, dancing, games, good times. The music goes from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. at Mill Valley Masonic Hall; $12, $20.

-- Candlelight Concert: In keeping with the mildly antisemitic theme running throughout this post: Xmas rules! That said, come and celebrate the holidays at this candlelight concert, featuring many of your favorite holiday tunes. It happens at a glorious Catholic church smack dab in the Castro, so watch your back, boys. The harmonizing starts at 8 p.m. at Most Holy Redeemer Parish.
