Holiday Giveaway: Darlybird

Last year we interviewed Rachel Schutz, the force behind Darlybird. This year’s she’s upped her holiday cheer offer by volunteering an awesome prize package for one lucky SFist reader. This year’s giveaway includes a rococo candelabra, a photo mobile, NPR Frequency Map, glitter beetle magnets, an aluminum vase, and an acrylic frame. Pretty much you wouldn’t have to shop at all if you won this prize.
Just enter below by noon on Saturday. Read on for Rachel’s interview from last year, and to catch glimpses of some of her other fun wares.

Today’s interview is with the proprietor of darlybird.com.. a local biz that has our all time favorite corporate logo. Seriously. The fact that we’re semi-addicted to shopping on the site means that we’re kind of hoping our loved ones will read this post and buy us this, or these, or even one of these. Darlybird’s quirky and colorful assortment reflect the ethos of its owner and founder, Rachel Schutz. We think that she’s right: we all could use a LOT more color in our lives. Especially the wee ones. We also love that give some time and money to run loose in SF, she’d hit one of our favorite haunts…Britex. Place your holiday orders quickly.
