"Anti-business"? Boo hoo, poor developers will really lose their shirts over this one. The SF housing shortage is chronic and development is ridiculously lucrative. Developers should consider themselves lucky that Gavin's only asking them to pay for the costs they impose on the city. Externalities, bitches. Because he could easily ask them to play Ruby Rippey-Tourk. They'd do it, too.

I wouldn't really worry about someone finding eggshell remnants in your garbage considering that it all ends up in landfill anyways. California jurisdictions have forever been receiving diversion credit for use of CLEAN GREEN waste as daily cover on landfills, when it could be sold as compost, mulch or fuel for biomass plants. So when you're dutifully separating your compostables from your regular old garbage, it's actually a waste of time because it all ends up in the same place. When you do some digging, you find out that California is not so "green" after all.

I saw him in a cafe in North Beach, sitting there, drinking out of a disposable coffee cup, even though the cafe provided regular, ceramic cups. W.T.F. And that picture of him, like others have mentioned, shows him on a RENTED bike. A millionaire can't even own his own bike? He is as full of shit as a Christmas...er, XMAS turkey. Gavin Newsom is about as green as my ass.
