sad for several reasons. celebrities are always more important than the rest of us. what the fuck were you doing out at 4am? nothing good happens at 4am!!!

No offense to SF Crime, but shouldn't the armed robbery story be credited to the Chronicle. I mean, one of its staff writers only wrote the story. Wait, silly me. Blogs are responsible for everything. Carry on.

Van, I'm aware that a Chronicle staff writer wrote that story. There's a link to the original article, AND...it says in big letters at the top: "Marisa Lagos, Chronicle Staff Writer."

So the problem is?

So the problem is ... not with you, but with SFist crediting your blog and not the Chron. Linking is fine, but I'm a believer in giving credit where credit is due, which you did but this blog did not. Pretty simple.

Yes, because we never link/credit the Chron. Jesus.

I found the story on SF Crime first, so...they got the link first. If this lack of organically-based crediting will cause you sleeplessness, feel free to send me the link and I'll add it.
