Coitus Interruptus: Sean Penn's Kucinich Speech at SFSU

Filled with a combustible mix of conceit and twink rage, Leigh Wolf, hot piece of ass and President of the College Republicans at SFSU, interrupted Sean Penn's Dennis Kucinich-endorsement speech on Friday. Basically, he quietly held up a sign that (incorrectly) whined about Sean "supporting the moral majority's America's Enemies, " or something inane like that. Meaning to impress someone more than make an important or clear statement, Wolf's protest... oh, who knows? But we now plan on committing acts of sodomy, having an abortion or two, and assaulting Patricia Heaton just to piss him off. And for giggles.

But the real story here is the minor scuffle Wolf gets into with an equally fine Kucinich supporter. While not a full on wrestling match, the confrontation got our blood pumping nevertheless. It seems that Brian Rutledge (according to YouTube) tried to squelch Wolf's silent protest by confronting him during Penn's speech. And by "confronting him," we mean "getting hard for each other." Why, just look at the humidity between the two Boys Gone Wild at 1:25. They're practically exchanging fluids before they realize that they're in front of an audience, then self-consciously pulling back. So Maurice. So hot.

Penn, of course, played it cool the entire time. (So, can we be in your movie now? No? OK, fine.)

Thanks, Tabby, for sending this our way.

Interesting that you state that the sign "incorrectly" states that Penn supports America's enemies. Why is that incorrect? Penn consistently travels the world praising dictators who are openly hostile to the United States. Hugo Chavez is just the most recent example. The editors may like Hugo Chavez but there is not doubt that Chavez hates the United States (though he is happy to have host Penn and other dupes).

Loathing our current (and unfortunate) administration is not necessarily the same thing as hating the United States. At this point in the game, they're verging on mutual exclusivity.

So, as president of the silly ass silent sign holding Republicans for whatever - who exactly does that little furry twink expect people to vote for? Rudy? Fine upstanding character he. It will be interesting to see who he endorses.

More Ken Russell's Women in Love than Maurice, don't you think?

(Why is the wrestling scene not on youtube! Someone fix this!)

Ahhhh...blanket statements about whom hates America. The intelligence here is breathtaking. By that I mean you SFBurke, your name sums you up perfectly.

ah, its an honor to be mocked by the SFist. What's important is that your talking about what we did and not what sean penn was saying......Mission Accomplished.

oh by the way, our club is comprised almost entirely of Ron Paul supporters, if that makes any of you liberal whiners feel better.

correction...What's important is that YOU'RE talking about what we did and not what Sean Penn was saying.

"Liberal whiner?" How dare you call me a liberal, stud.

Also, Ron Paul? Please. That man is a gargantuan douche.

I dont care to debate politics, you've already served my purposes. No one is posting Sean Penn's speech as seen on the Kucinich youtube channel, they're posting videos of me holding up a sign and some sucker coming up to tear it down. Like i said....Mission Accomplished.

If and when Chavez decides to embargo oil shipments to the US and we all have to spend a day every other week waiting in line for gas, Sean Penn can send his personal assistants out to buy gas for his Buicks full of weapons that he uses for transportation.

A couple of replies:

Brock: Chavez's rhetoric is not limited to being anti-Bush; he has repeatedly condemned the United States, its economic systems, its historic influence in Latin America etc. Just because you agree with him when he speaks about Bush, doesn't mean you shouldn't pay attention to the other things he says.

Fizzandpop: I didn't make any blanket statements. I merely said that Chavez was anti-american and that Penn had supported other anti-american rulers. If you care to refute that please do so. Otherwise, it is you who looks rather unintelligent.

I pretty much agree with Brock's first comment. It's unfortunate that so many people have to be so careful when addressing their problems with the current administration, because their words can easily be twisted into treason.

Wonderful. Thank you, Brock, for having a brain.

I think he was going for the "Say Anything" effect to the cute boy in the back of the auditorium. Maybe he could have held up a boom box and played some Peter Gabriel instead. It worked in the movie ya know...

"I don't make any blanket statements" then you immendiately make a blanket statement. Could you have made it any easier? Kid, the plastic thing on the wall has electricity in it, don't poke a fork in there again.

that may be true, but i would never have watched a sean penn speech at all without this, and i was pretty much only here to watch how hilarious it was when taken with brock's lurid description of the subtext. if your mission is to sway people to your ideology actin like a jackass aint really gonna cut it.

Listening to anything Sean Penn has to say about politics is treason.

"if your mission is to sway people to your ideology actin like a jackass aint really gonna cut it."

You mean like the way leftists act on a regular basis? Rushing stages, pieing speakers in the face, chanting loudly while people are trying to speak. I I want you to openly condemn the students who ruined the CR event earlier this semester at SFSU with signs and wild shouting and then i'll be able to take you serioulsy, until then, you're just another hypocrit driven by blind allegienace to your ideology.

As a soon-to-be-graduating SFSU student, I can confirm that State's College Republicans are nothing more than whiny attention-whores. Hoping for another Fox News segment, guys?

i'm not going to debate the politics of this, but i'm confused. how come the guy who confronts mr. wolf gets escorted out by the security guard but mr. wolf gets to stick around? seems to me they were both disrupting the speech, yea?

(oh no! is the security guard in cahoots with the republicans?!)

1. I don't care what Sean Penn thinks.

2. I hate Oprah

3. I didn't think there were any young Republicans in SF

i should mention that i don't have sound on my computer here at work. am i missing something?

I think the second guy got escorted out because he ripped the first guy's sign. He should have just stood there and blocked him- maybe bring a bigger sign next time.

Lief looks more like a scruffy kid living in his parent's basement than a Republican- what part of allowing corporations and the super wealthy to accumulate as much money as possible and remove any regulation to protect the average citizen is going to help him? Dressed like that, he is not a prodigal son. I also thought he was going to start crying when the other guy stood in front of him. If the other guy had remained cool and just blocked him, he would have hypocritically whined about being denied his 1st amendment while trying to infringe upon Sean's. (And yes, standing in front of him was accomplishing exactly what he was trying to accomplish by standing in front of Sean.)

sure! well, i don't presume to be in a position to "condemn" anyone, but i'd certainly agree that those guys are acting like morons too. i'm not sure if anybody ever changed someone's mind about a political thing by getting in their face and being disruptive, at least not in the last 20-30 years. and by all means, you don't have to take me seriously either, i just call 'em like i see 'em.

Why are we not talking about how hot Maurice was? Hugh Grant in boy love, very hot!

Thanks for spotligihting Seans endoresement of Congressman Kucinich. AS for the closet case with the poster in hand. Call me.....

Oh. Wow. Welcome to the circus folks. As Leigh has already stated, he's not here for intelligent discourse. He's a martyr in the making. A person with a peculiar persecution problem. A rebel without a cause. Ignore him, and his ilk, and he'll go away.

If one wants to make a list about passionate people partaking in perilously persistent interruptions, one may very well be obligated to list the horridly obnoxious actions that Leigh Wolf has perpetrated. Look at the SFSU magazine for more info, but are frivolous lawsuits more dignified than a pie to the face? Fisticuffs more civilized than encouraging students to research the candidates? God, I hope not.

Seems to me that Mister Penn's message has received some coverage from the popular media. Better that than massaging your ego, eh Leigh?

You all seem to be under the presumption that negative attention is something we're not used to and will somehow impact future activities. The words "douchebag" "closet case" and "arrogant asshole" are common adjectives that describe myself and the club. Unfortunately for our adversaries who live in the world of 8th grade name calling as a means to achieve political ends, we couldn't possibly care less what you think. Our club is wildly successful BECAUSE people like you insist on living up to the stereotypes of radical San Franciscans.

Zippy monster, daithi, gttim, pancake breakfast and the rest...keep it up, the survival of our movement depends on it.

i don't think you're a "closet case," leigh; in fact, i loathe that train of thought. it's like thinking racists are secretly black or laotian or whatever. it makes no sense. some people are just hateful.

anyway, i'm officially a huge fan of your work. whatever you do next, be sure to let us know!

gracias.

Brock, you really ought to give Leigh all the attention he deserves, which is to say none.

Leading by example eh zippy monster?

Fizzandpop: Apparently you don't understand what a "blanket statement" is. I attributed a specific position to a specific person. No blankets there. It is apparent that your advice on outlets has been learned from (repeated) bad experiences.

mariconsoy: you're more or less right on number three. Leigh's certainly not a San Francisco native, and merely gravitated here to fulfil his need for attention and become another ornery rabble rouser. Check out gatorgop.com to see just how whiney they really are. He hails from... Orinda or some other similar cultural wasteland.

Leigh Wolf won't engage in actual political conversation because he can't. He's literally incapable of conversing on an adult level without playing the role of victim. He's said as much himself in this thread, and that attention grabbing stunts and O'Reilly-like rhetoric are his true aim. Well said, Wolf. Mission accomplished indeed.

So. You guys are college students, huh?

I don't think that Republican boy was cute at all. But that Kucinich supporter who confronted him ... ooh, so damn fine! And that moment when they had their arms clapsed together ... hot.

See... now you liberals see what WE have had to put up with! Pretty damned annoying, isn't it?

PS... Give me Leigh Wolf over Josh Wolf ANY DAY!
