Update: Missing Teen Found

Police found missing diabetic East Bay teen ("missing," "diabetic," and from the "East Bay" -- ow, that's rough), who also suffers from depression, in "ok" condition this afternoon. Whew. According to NBC11, "ambulance crews pulled [Rosalind "Rosie" Blanckenburg] off a trail at the park at about 1:25 p.m. near Woodhaven and Sinset." No word yet on how she ended up in the park, but for now she is safe and (hopefully) sound.

We're sure that her poor parents have been having a Paul Lynde moment since yesterday, so we wish Rosie and her family all the best. Hang in there, girl.

Hey, what are you trying to say about the East Bay! Back off fogsucker!

Okay, Mr. Bugging Bugger, I hate how people are treating this. They were most certainly not having a Paul Lynde moment. Rosie is not your typical teen. She shy and clever and needs help. She isn't the type who rebels and generally causes problems. I hate that people clump young persons into the same group, and wont take them seriously as individuals. Often people will shove aside issues as teen angst, that are actually serious problems.

So seriously, take teens seriously. Learn some tact dude!
