Vallejo Mayor Disgusted By Folsom Street Fair

But that's the entire point! Anyway, RicardoSF tells us in the comments section here that:
In January's issue of The Advocate in the Rants & Raves section -- unavailable online -- "I think what goes on at that fair is pretty disgusting. Just because you are gay doesn't mean you support the Folsom Street Fair or go there. I don't."
-- Openly gay Vallejo, CA, Mayor Gary Cloutier, when asked at a Vallejo religious forum if he would support an event like San Francisco's Folsom Street Fair, October 20.
Seesh. Not every party can be the White party, butch. (He must be one of those homos who complain about gays always thinking he's straight, just how much he doesn't get the whole Judy Garland thing, and self--promoting like that. Still, we have to agree with him on some level: we don't care that much for the FSF. But that's because of its pungent crowd and blistering sunlight.
But disgusted? Not so much.

evidently he's more into the drinking they do in Palm Springs....
He just needs to have a few stiff drinks, and oh, well maybe not,
"Blistering sunlight"? I stopped going because it was so damn cold!
The problem with the FSF is parking.
Any number of participants face long walks from their cars to the, um, action. So the whole combat boots/leather crotch satchel/leash/ball gag ensemble has to parade through about 8 blocks of civilian territory before finally finding a sweaty, under-dressed consenting adult to pee on.
The best view of the FSF is actually on Harrison, watching families (who literally just left church) gape from their minivans. Totally a "when worlds collide" moment.
Redheads burn easily.
"He was "staggering and could barely stand." Police reported that it appeared Cloutier had vomited in the car and had some on him..."
I mean, really, Mr. Mayor...just because you are gay doesn't mean you have to vomit all over yourself.
Thank you for liberating me from Folsom Street.
I wonder if he peed his pants too, or if it was just vomit.
He may think the Folsom Street Fair is disgusting, but I think being in public so drunk you can't stand up pretty damn disgusting.
He deserved to lose the mayor's race, if for no other reason than that stupid comment.
FSF ... I mean, of course I go. But Up Your Alley is always more fun. And since not so many people attend, the line to pee on someone is much shorter.
