It's like two SFist Finds in one day, isn't it? Lucky you. And you all have been so clever and creative with the images you tag "SFist" as of late. Why, it almost makes us weep with appreciative joy. Thanks, you guys.

Anyway, we came across this here. If we had known that drugs were buried in planters across the city -- also, why does this happen? -- we would be walking around this fair city of ours more often, getting our hands a little more dirty. (It's like Easter morning for the bipolar!) Anyway, a feelings-based letter begging dealers out there not to destroy your greenery might not cut it. Wealthy yuppies or starving artist, it doesn't matter. For it is, as they used to say, all about the benjamins.

It should be replanted with Toxicodendron diversilobum (poison oak) or some nice cacti.

(comic license - I'm just citing a related example) Folks from my parent's part of the country (a.k.a. Appalachia - a ghetto in its own right, though a beautiful one) who grew marijuana to make a living used to booby trap their plants with dynamite (when dynamite was easy to come by via coal mining companies) to keep people from messing with their plants. That's one way of doing things I guess...

Sounds like gentrifying artists are messing with the game. That's not going to end well.

"We are not gentrifying yuppies, we're artists" will "I'm rolling 20 deep" in my local douchebags series.

Rincon! You're redneck bible belt too?

What is the address? I'm off this afternoon.

Yep, redneck bible belt - though I'm happy to report the only Baptist preachers in my family are cousins and uncles I can easily ignore. To pigeonhole myself, I'm a Redneck, part-Cherokee, Detroit-born, Gay guy who LOVES listening to 95.7, The Wolf (Bay Area's Fresh Country music), when I tune into terrestrial radio while driving my Oldsmobile. Want to date? ;) Just kidding .. I'm taken.
