Ichinkhorloo "Iko" Bayarsaikhan's Boastful, Alleged Killers
Demian Bulwa at the Chronicle reports on some depressing info found in the search warrant affidavits filed in court by police in the Halloween murder of Ichinkhorloo "Iko" Bayarsaikhan. The teenagers who supposedly gunned down "Iko" bragged about shooting her soon after they fled the scene on an AC Transit bus back to Oakland. According to the story:
As the youths rode an AC Transit bus back to Oakland afterward, one of the suspects mocked how 15-year-old Ichinkhorloo "Iko" Bayarsaikhan fell when she was shot, a witness told police. Another boy later bragged of his involvement in the crime to schoolmates, a boast that helped investigators solve the killing, police said.
See, teenagers are scary.
What's more, according to a witness riding the bus, one of the boys asked the shooter, "Why did you shoot the girl? I wanted you to shoot the guy." The kid then pretended to fall forward, just like Ichinkhorloo had done after taking a bullet to the back. Charming.
Anyway, although six little hooligans were arrested, only the alleged shooter, Quochuy "Tony" Tran, 16, will be charged as an adult. Quochuy's attorney, Robert Beles, of course, claims that "his client has been wrongly accused and assailed the credibility of the 15-year-old as a witness."

that story reminds of me of a film on ifc i couldn't stop watching last night. it was based on a true story of a photographer growing up in the slums of rio. the kids becoming the gangsters of the slums. they are ruthless, killing anyone that gets in their way. as bad as the scenes in blood diamond.

that seems to be exactly where we are headed with all the east bay towns like richmond and parts of the city, bayview, visitacion valley, sunnyside, western addition.
