SFist Photo: The Scourge of Golden Gate Park

Look, it's everybody's favorite larder hoarding varmint, Botta's Pocket Gopher.
IMG_9745a1%20%28Large%29.jpg
Those darn gophers seem to be everywhere in Golden Gate Park these days. They are very cute of course, but their homes can create holes that can result in ugly injuries. Stay safe out there, 'cause they're not going away anytime soon.

[Obligatory filmed-back-in-the-1970's-before-you-were-born Caddyshack reference here. Waste five minutes of your life watching Chuck Rodent battle the guy who played Bob in Lost in Translation here. "That kangaroo stole my ball!" Indeed.]
