Paper Bag Coverage

With tomorrow's official switch from plastic bags to paper bags looming, news stations have their top cameramen (or the more PC "camera operators") hitting grocery stores across the city, sticking their cameras in your face at the checkout stands. bag.jpgWe ourselves were just shot (without permission, BTW) at Whole Foods on 4th and Harrison. Thank goodness we remembered to bring our reusable frayed-green Whole Foods tote.

With stations like KTVU reporting live at the scene, don't be surprised to find Claudine Wong in your face as the checker bags your condoms, okra, and 2-for-1 enema packs.

And if you see a very cute gal giving the camera a "Are you fucking taping me right now?" look on the local news tonight, well, that's your very own SFist Deborah. Wink.

We have a star in our midst...

If I see the cameras rolling, I'll be sure to pick up an extra six half-gallons of vodka, drop them all at the reporter's feet when the paper bag ruptures, and then loudly curse Al Gore in an incoherent, drunken voice on behalf of all my fellow KSFO listeners.

TV reporters LOVE that stuff!

So, your shopping list of condoms, okra and enemas - which were on your list? And which were impulse buys? Inquiring minds want to know... Actually, on second thought, maybe we don't...

Like Gossip Girl, that's one secret I'll never tell. ;)

okay I'm just wondering where are they selling 2-for-1 enema packs?!?!

plastic shopping bags aren't the problem in this city. its the PINK shopping bags, and you all know what i mean.

Switch to resuable mink bags.

Deborah - xoxo
