Oakland: Early Morning Hit-And-Run Kills Woman

250%20grand%20ave.gif
This morning at around 1:15 a.m., an unidentified woman walking on Grand Avenue in Oakland was struck and killed by a passing car. She died at the scene. According to Bay City News, the vehicle then hightailed it northbound on Grand Avenue. Jerk.

So far there is no description of the car or person that killed the woman. Of course, if any of you were up at that hour, kicking it in Oakland and might have seen something around the 250 block of Grand Avenue at that time, you are urged to call the Oakland Police Department Traffic Investigation at 510-777-8658.

why isn't anyone in the media stating the obvious? she was homeless! who else walks around in the middle of the night with a shopping cart full of shit. that's what i caught on the video report this morning on fox. seems like everyone is being a little sensitive about it for fear of invoking the lack of interest or sympathy that most of us will feel when we find out the facts.

her alleged homelessness has no point to the story. seeing as how she has yet to be identified, there's little reason to bring it up whatsoever.

Nobody is more hypersensitive than suckafree.

Nobody is more hyper than suckafree.

lol!

i fail to see why the headline can't just say, hit and run kills homeless woman in oakland

it's just as dramatic and makes all the same folks stop and spend 30 seconds of their busy lives reading the story.
