There were a few homeless guys swigging some of the free wine, but overall it all panned out as expected. One nice thing: if Mint Plaza fails, it will pave over realy nice and we'll have this part of Jessie back again. The orange chairs were there about a week ago. I guess there were there for looking at.

Good thing it's privately managed. The city of SF can't take care of its public spaces anymore. Maybe having a guard patrol the place is the only way to keep it from turning into another open-air urinal.

I bet those cute Bryant Park style movable chairs are gone within two weeks. Nice plaza though.

horray! a new place for the homeless to bed down. (bonus, everything is concrete, so it can be easily hosed off)
