Saturday, Saturday, Saturday: Migden vs. Leno Rematch
The airtight smiles. Awesome.

For those of you somehow not tempted into becoming a part of Van Santian art -- or, you know, if you sport a vagina -- might we suggest catching round II of the Leno vs. Migden smackdown? Sponsored by the Harvey Milk Club, this meeting is sure to ruffle a few plumes and have local politicos affectedly scratching their chins for days to come.
That's right, kids, it's on. It is going to be on. And we won't be happy with anything less than a gruesome bloodbath.
What: Migden vs. Leno II: This Time It's Homosexual -- CA Senate Debate
When: Saturday, November 17, 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Where: The State Building, Milton Marks Auditorium, 455 Golden Gate Avenue (between Larkin & Polk)
Who: Carole! Mark! And your moderator, Belva Davis! (Police Commissioner Joe Alioto Veronese will be there, too. He's also running. Isn't that adorable?)
Panelists: Cynthia Laird (Editor of the Bay Area Reporter), Kim Corsaro (Publisher/Editor of the Bay Times), Steven T. Jones (City Editor for the SF Bay Guardian)

Isn't there an Alioto running as well??? My fear is that Mark and Carol beat each other up so bad, that someone else slips through... Marin is a large part of the district.
they need Beth Spotswood there too!!!
I'm there. Winner gets my vote.
Given how Carole treated Beth Spotswood, I don't think she'd be an objective moderator. Nor would I, for that matter, since I support Mark Leno.
But here's the problem. If Migden continues to operate the way she does around people, she's going to alienate everyone in the press. Pretty soon there won't be any "neutral" panelists left to moderate a debate.
oh God , how many more months of this bitchfest do we have to endure?
it's not like they're gonna talk about issues or about the things either one has actually accomplished. Maybe someone can ask Leno and Migden about that 10 Billion Dollar budget gap they've been presiding over. Or perhaps all those cuts to MUNI. Or perhaps some real issues.
But if the Guardian's there they'll probably just spend the time asking the candidates by how much they think progressives won the mayor's race.
thank GOD I live in Leland Yee's district.
It's time to ruuuuuuuummmbleeeeeeee.
