SFist Watches: Project Runway -- Season Four

If you're a fan of "Project Runway" you probably know that season four premieres tonight on Bravo at 10 p.m. (And if you're not a fan, what is wrong with you!) We'd be watching not matter what, but we are doubly excited about this season because there are two--TWO!--designers from San Francisco competing this time around.

chrismarch.jpgFirst off is Chris March who once worked on "Beach Blanket Babylon" as their "wig master," and now works in New York as a costume designer. Shall we expect huge hats and lots of sequins in his designs?

simoneleblanc.jpgNext is Simone LeBlanc, who studied at the California College of the Arts, but now resides in Los Angeles, and already has her own clothing line, TS Bloom. (Also, didn't she play Ashley on "The Young and the Restless"?)

Ms. LeBlanc and her clothing line brings up a good point about this season: the contestants seem to have a lot more experience than in previous years. Perhaps the producers are realizing it takes more than this show to launch a career? It takes a failing career and winning the show to launch a career.

We'll be watching those two closely and will provide our recaps each Monday. And if you've ever had a run-in with either of them, let us know!

Cannot wait to see this!

Ouch. Ess Eff bounced in the first round!

Ess Eff is always bounced in the first round. We are not "all that and a bag of chips" apparently.
