The Brothers Green -- San Francisco Supervisors Chris Daly and Ross Mirkarimi spoke to a large and enthusiastic crowd at the 2007 Green Festival.

GreenFestival 2007 is now in the history books. See some photos and some noteworthy exhibits after the jump.

The best idea we saw was the Geo Bulb from Northern California's own C. Crane company. Practical LED lighting is almost here.

The best edible we tasted was Fair Trade chocolate from Alter Eco. Num num.

"Green" is a loose term, apparently.

Outside we saw yet another Draft Gore advocate. These people are everywhere. Did you know that during his service in Congress, Al Gore took the initiative in creating the Internet? Something to think about.

This thing was huge. See you next year!

i didnt see one booth that had anything to do with people of color. was the people's grocery there? if so, i may have missed them given that people of color are disproportionately affected by the lack of fresh fruit/vegetables in the areas of cities they live in or other issues that the green movement advocates, i would have liked to see something address those issues. Is the green movement really the financially able (white) movement?

is it me or does ross look really pleased with himself in that picture?

Weird, Daly looks hot in this picture, although I don't normally find him very attractive (he's not ugly, but I've never said "Mmm, hot" while looking at him before.).

Also, if I hear the words "Al Gore" in the same sentence with "internet" ever again, I'm probably going to put my head through a wall, so could you please, PLEASE let this fucking lame joke go already?

He's doing something stimulating with his hands.

I get that same look when I give myself a lap dance.

That looks like the most boring thing on earth. Poor presentation is killing the planet.

Did anybody else notice the paper made from elephant dung? How un-green is it to ship poop half way round the world?

Shop local people!

The progressive sect has completely imploded. San Francisco is rapidly transforming into a moderate city.
