Just to clarify. There were 2 deaths last year-- not suicides to my knowledge. Both deaths were from natural causes.

Being serious, in case any Hastings 1Ls are reading this, here is that rare thing 99 percent of lawyers agree on: Law school sucks. Period. Esp. at a competitive school like Hastings. Despite local legends, very few people at Hastings or any other schools around here actually flunk out. At the end of it all, no matter where you end up on the curve, you'll have a JD, you'll get a job, and you'll most likely pass the bar like eighty something percent of Hastings students. Then you'll be a disgruntled lawyer like the rest of us. Something to, uh, look forward to.
