SFist: More Measure G Lethargy

I voted yes because I walked through the stables the other weekend while I was at the polo fields to watch some soccer and I thought it was a cryin' shame that all these stables and a riding ring and little barns are falling to pieces and boarded up. GG park is one of the things that I am proudest of in this city, and I think anything that helps it get better is worth it. I'll gladly pay my extra 5 bucks or whatever my tax increase will be to see these fixed up.

I've always wanted a pair of expensive leather riding boots and the little red coat, so I voted yes also.

Thanks for the link to the voter pamphlet, I hadn't done my homework either... I'm at G now, and it seems that "Dr." Faulkner doesn't like it because his daddy didn't like the stables, and his next-door neighbor growing up didn't like them either, and the guy who founded the park didn't like them, and gosh darn it he doesn't like 'em either. And that's good enough for him, by golly... I think I'll vote yes on G and look into snappy riding outfits...
