Chicken John Debates Gavin Newsom
In a final tip of the hat that sums up this year's (disappointing) election, Gavin Watch has celebrity candidate Chicken John's surprise Saturday night debate with San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom. Not the real mayor, mind you, but Gavin in puppet form. (Kudos to those who created the puppet, though we would've have liked to have seen Newsom sporting a signature cold-blue tie. We digress.)
It's a humorous bit, one that stretches on and on, but worth your time. And beware: the political puppetry metaphors whirling about might hit you smack-ouch in the crotch. Enjoy!

Whoever is behind that puppet is a fucking genius!
seeing that debate (actually i saw a different repeat debate last night at a bbq party for quintin and chicken volunteers, one which included quintin too) was by far the perfect ending to what's been a surreal election season. thanks chicken!
I care little for SFPG or SFWeakly, who / what does SFist endorse?
Chicken John will certainly be my #2, just like he asked for.
anarchy, high-sodium diets, and designer labels.
no, that's just me. as for the whole, we will have some endorsement posts coming out later day. stay tuned.
Here are the endorsements from the League of Pissed Off Voters:

Can anyone here with clout please get Gavin and his lackeys to stop calling my house?
I am pretty solidly in his camp, but if I get one more recorded call from Michaela Alioto, Phil Ting, or Gavin himself I might have to vote for Chicken John. I get about 5 a day. No joke. Is it just me?
